There’s no magic way to lose weight, and no potion that can allow you to eat and drink whatever you want and gain no extra poundage! There is, however, a way you can aid and accelerate weight loss by incorporating noni juice into your regime.
What is noni?
Noni is the fruit of the Morinda citrifolia tree, which grows in the South Pacific islands of Tahiti, the Cook Islands and Hawaii. The fruit itself isn’t desperately attractive, having a lumpy appearance and a smell that is described as a mixture of rotten cheese and burnt rubber!
You won’t be drinking noni juice for its flavour, though, you’ll be drinking it to help you to lose weight, which it does in several different ways.
First of all, noni juice can boost your energy levels, which results in you taking the stairs instead of the lift, or walking to work rather than driving. All this burns calories and builds muscle – the keys to losing weight and keeping it off.
Another benefit is a marked improvement in bowel function. People who drink noni juice on a regular basis report that they no longer suffer from constipation, and this helps the body to get rid of toxins, which can lead to a reduction in water retention. Again, this leads to increased energy levels and improved immune function.
There’s a huge connection between sleep and weight. Poor sleep can lead to hormonal imbalances that promote weight gain, and feeling permanently tired can lead to craving sugary foods and energy drinks, neither of which helps! An important factor in weight loss is enough good quality sleep and by drinking noni juice people tend to exercise more in the daytime and have better digestion, which leads to deeper sleep.
It’s quite obvious, then, that while there’s no magic bullet for weight loss, noni can certainly help the cause as long as it’s incorporated into a sensible diet and exercise regime.
